The NN5 Actor Lab is a focused, studio-based training environment built around the TRUTH Framework (Thought, Reason, Urgency, Tension, Human Cost).
Work is practical, direct, and performance-led. Actors are challenged through scene work, improvisation, and on-camera exercises designed to develop instinctive, truthful behaviour.
Those who demonstrate consistency and readiness may progress into the Talent Development Pathway, with potential consideration for representation through NN5 Management.
The Lab runs in 4-week cycles, allowing actors to train consistently, be observed, and develop within a professional environment.
Small group sessions (max 6 actors) ensure focused direction, accountability, and real performance progression.

San Ross
FounderSan Ross is a writer, director, and founder of NN5 Creative Studios, working at the intersection of performance, storytelling, and actor development. With a background in screenwriting and actor training, his work is rooted in creating truthful, compelling performances that translate powerfully on screen.
He developed the TRUTH Framework (Thought, Reason, Urgency, Tension, Human Cost) to help actors move beyond surface-level performance and into instinctive, behaviour-driven work. His approach focuses on stripping back performance habits and building authentic responses under pressure.
Known for a direct, challenging, yet supportive style, San pushes actors to think, respond, and commit with purpose. His sessions are designed to develop not just skill, but presence, confidence, and consistency in performance.
